Disprin tablet uses and side effects
Disprin tablet

Description

Disprin tablet requires a prescription. This medication is used to treat fever, swelling, and pain at higher doses. Additionally, it has anti-platelet properties which prevent the formation of blood clots. As a result, lower doses of the medication are used to treat or prevent heart attacks, strokes, which result in decreased blood flow to the brain, and angina (heart-related chest pain). The Disprin Tablet works by halting the body's production of chemicals that cause pain, fever, and redness and swelling. Additionally, it prevents blood clots from forming in your blood vessels. Thus reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Disprin tablet may cause nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, heartburn, headache, drowsiness, and other side effects. If any of these side effects persist or become severe, see a doctor. To avoid stomach discomfort, Disprin tablet should be taken with food, or as directed by your doctor. Based on the condition you are being treated for, your doctor will determine the dosage and duration of treatment. If you are allergic to Disprin tablet, you should not take it. If you have bleeding disorders (disorders in which blood does not clot properly), NSAID-induced asthma (breathing issues caused by the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), or peptic ulcers (sores in the lining of the stomach and intestine), you should not take this medication. If you have any previous liver, kidney, or other conditions, tell your doctor. Before taking this medication, you should talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
