Septran DS is product of GLAXO SMITHKLINE PHARMA. It is mostly used for the diagnosis or treatment of bacterial infections, irritation and redness in the membrane covering the eye, and malaria . It has some adverse effects such as crystal formation in urine, abnormal blood counts, Related Blood disorders, and Anaemia. The salts Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim are present in the preparation of Septran DS.
